My Hens and Bridal Shower

I know this is late, just realised I have not posted on my pre-wedding parties :) So, I thought before writing about the wedding, I should probably write on the Bridal parties :)

My MOH, Ms Nell, was back in Malaysia for 3 months from December '10 till February '11. So, she decided to throw me an early Hen's before she left back for Australia since she'll only be back to Malaysia 1 week before my wedding. It was a karaoke party at Redbox Pavilion, a few days after we came back from Jakarta. A few friends could not make it, mostly the mummies, but I still had good company and had tons of fun, especially at the end of the night when we inhaled helium from the helium baloons and started singing in chipmunk voices :) Thanx Nellssssssss for the party! I know you wanted to throw me a  club-hopping hens, but we had to cater for the then-mak buyong, Kakmira, and I somewhow felt I was too old for that already...but, you know what, on second thought, I'm still pretty darn young right? Lets do that when u come back again? hahahaha....Here are some pictures of the night, the theme was Coco Chanel :) -  

 

A few weeks before my wedding my UIA besties threw me a bridal shower at Carcosa Seri Negara. It was a french-tea-party. I LOVE them for this, because they know me so well! I've always wanted a wedding at Carcosa, but they are remodelling and the only space they had could only fit about 120 people, max. Then I thought of having the solemnization there, but Bapak veto-ed and insisted on having it at home. Oh well, at least I had my bridal shower there :) And I love all the deco and the table set up...beautifully done! And I got a little teary-eyed when I was giving my coerced speech. Thanx girls! I miss the wedding alreadyyyyyyyyy! I think I'll be blogging about the wedding for a while untuk mengubat rinduuuuuu :)
